2. Overview – Course Content
โ
Watch the performance. Follow the judging. Experience the coffee. Understand the result.
The WCC Judge Skills Program helps participants systematically understand how a Brewers Cup routine is observed, evaluated, and translated into scores.
Under the guidance of Edward Choo, participants will explore:
-
What judges observe during a competition routine
-
How scoring decisions are made
-
How calibration influences interpretation
-
How the complete performance and service are translated into a final score
A special feature of the program at HQJ is the official demo routines performed by Bella Pham and Sam Choi, allowing participants to experience high-level competition routines and follow the full process from performance to evaluation.
