This expert-level course, developed by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), is thoughtfully crafted for professionals in the coffee industry, including traders, green coffee buyers, and quality-control managers.
Focused on the Sensory component of the Coffee Value Assessment system, this course equips participants with the skills to evaluate coffee using the latest CVA forms and methodology. Through hands-on training and guided analysis, you'll learn how to assess coffee quality through sensory evaluation, interpret market trends, and apply data-driven pricing strategies grounded in quality metrics and consumer value perception.

Tuition fee
Tuition includes the SCA certification fee: $610
*The above tuition fees do not include value-added tax.
Tuition includes the SCA CVA certificate fee (if the student passes the exam).
- Early bird: 5% discount
- Additional discounts apply, regardless of whether the student studied at HQJ or elsewhere:

If you already hold a Q Robusta or Q Arabica Grader certificate (regardless of where it was issued): additional 15% discount → up to 20% total discount

If you already hold an SCA Sensory Intermediate Certificate or higher, OR if you are a Q Retaker: additional 10% discount → up to 15% total discount

If none of the above apply but you're an international student enrolling at HQJ for the first time: additional 5% discount → up to 10% total discount
